Notice that one toe is pointed up...this is something that Mylea picked up at Disney. All the princess' pose for pictures with one toe pointed in the air.

Pumpkin Carving Night

Helping Daddy cut the top off.

Not liking the "yucky stuff" inside the pumpkin.
"Oh, that's gross!"
Checking to see how much more we need to clean out.
Convincing Mylea to eat some of the pumpkin "yuckies". goes!
And's still yucky!
Still more to scoop out
Time to draw the face. Mylea designed the pumpkins for Daddy and Uncle Lloyd.

Meeting Baby Wagner

Last Sunday afternoon church we headed to Conway with the anticipation of meeting Baby Wagner. Mylea was so excited the entire trip and couldn't wait to hold Wendy's new baby.
At the hospital, Mylea had fun playing with her cousins until the big moment. There were a set of newborn twins in the nursery window. Mylea couldn't get enough of them. She would get any adult that she could to take her over to the window and hold her up to see the sweet babies.
Baby Wagner finally made his debut and Mylea was on cloud nine! She couldn't wait to get back to Wendy's room for her chance to hold the baby.

Finally it was Mylea's time! She wanted to know why Wendy hadn't given Wagner a bath and why he was still naked! We had to assure her over and over that Wendy would get some clothes on him later. In fact, she asked Wendy to send her a picture of Wagner dressed ....just for her piece of mind!

In the News

While at the Survivor's Challenge Race, a writer from City Wire stopped us and wanted to know who Landen was running in memory or honor of. Here's a portion of her article. She got Landen and Leightyn mixed up.....

Mylea Holmes, 4, from Fort Smith makes a sign for her dad who ran in the race in memory of Landen Holmes. The Holmes family lost their 5-year-old daughter to a brain tumor.

Trip To The Pumpkin Patch

Saturday we headed to Wild Things Farm to enjoy a few hours at the pumpkin patch.
Mylea couldn't wait to ride the tractor pull. She talked Ryan in to riding with her.

Family pics before the fun begins.
Mylea decided that she wanted this pumpkin. We told her that she had to carry it to the car.

Sending food to the goat way up in the trees!
While riding in the hayride......a hay fight broke out.
Love this sweet face!
The farm added a slide this year. I think we could have stayed on the slide all day. This was worth the admission price!

Next we were off to the corn maze. Somehow, Mylea was our leader in the maze.
Following a four year old through the maze...
Oops......wrong way!
Time to pick the perfect pumpkin.

Dressing the scarecrow

Off to the pig races
