PARTIES PARTIES PARTIES

Valentines was a busy weekend for us.
Friday was party day. We partied all day long. We had 2 homeschool group parties,
a lunch date, and a church fun night.
The Praise group hosted their Valentines Party at the Monkey House. The girls had plenty of sweets and then burned them off while climbing around for a couple of hours. We delivered Valentines and got many placed in our boxes. The little ones were excited about the candy that came attached to the cards.
After Monkey House, we headed to Chilck Fil A for a lunch date.
Next we went to the Believers group party at Crystal Palace. We passed out Valentines and came home with boxes full of candy and valentines to open later.
Mylea and her friends had a ball dressing up for the photo booth.
We ended the night at church helping with a Parents Night Out. We had a good turnout and the kids seemed to have fun.
The fun day was over and everyone agreed it was bedtime when we got home.

What's Been Happening

Mylea has been learning about cowboys in her phonics lessons.
This was her drawing after finishing a story.
One of the benefits of homeschooling......doing work wherever you want
Helping plant Jo's garden
Look at my babies.....I can't believe Landry is now 3 and MB almost 2!!!

Getting Ready for Valentine's

GO HOGS GO

A few weeks back we headed up the hill to watch the Razorbacks play. Before we left, Landen had a men's breakfast at church so I took all the kiddos to the donut store for breakfast.

We decided to take Mylea with us for a big girl day. Landen's parents went with us and we met the rest of the crew in NWA. We met up with Wewe and Bonnie in Rudy and headed to AQ chicken for some lunch. We met Wendy and Brian at AQ. Wewe somehow thought we were eating in Springdale so they had to backtrack back to the right restaurant.

We made it to the game and found our seats. The game was supposibly sold out but we found several sections up top that were empty so we moved locations.
The game was fun and we won. Wendy's oldest son was the ball boy so it was fun watching him sweep the floors.

After the game we made a stop at none other than Rick's Bakery before heading back to the fort.

Landry and Maribette's Party

Thinking of the Birds

We decided to fix the birds some food just in case winter ever made an appearance.
A few pipe cleaners and a bowl of apple jacks and the girls were set.
MB was more interested in feeding her pipe cleaner through the table cracks.
She also did several taste test to see which color of cereal she preferred.
Landry worked hard and serious getting hers finished.
But then decided she wasn't going to share with the birds.
Mylea did a great job making some snacks for the birds.
To bad it rained the next day and they all turned soggy.
