Sick Friend

On the way home from AWANAs last night, Leightyn was asking why Logan wasn't at church. Obviously we didn't know why he missed so Leightyn decided to call and check on him. Their conversation was adorable. Logan told her that he was sick so Leightyn tells us that he ate to much food and now his tummy hurts. She asked about Laney and what they had been doing. It was the sweetest thing. When we got home, Leightyn was on a mission to make him a picture so Logan's tummy would feel better.





When she learned how to spell Logan's name she was so excited that she already knew how to write most of the letters in his name (the G was a new letter for her). She also was excited that their names had some letters "that match". When we finished the card and picture, she added "Logan" to the list of letters she can write.

I hope their friendship continues over the years. Leightyn and Logan are such good buddies at church. Mylea and Laney are quickly developing the same friendship.

Chad and Ashley....you have raised precious little kids that mean the world to our kids (ok...so Landen and I are partial to them too).
