It's Tough Being A Woman
It's tough being a woman who feels responsible for the "how".
(We feel responsible for everything and everyone. We know what needs to happen and want to take control to see that it happens.)
"then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment" 2 Peter 2:9
"For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust" Psalm 103:14
It's tough being a woman who can balance passion and patience.
(You are not waiting unless you are longing for it. There are things worth waiting for. The Lord is waiting to be gracious.)
"Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. " Isaiah 30:18
It's tough being a woman in a tight fist of fear.
(God wants to set us free from our fears...not use our vain imagination to fear things that we have made up.)
"Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me." Isaiah 49:16
When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: "Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses." Nehemiah 4:14
It's tough being a woman thrown a giant size weight.
(Throw your hands up to God and say "Here God....it's Yours, You take the weight and I'll take the weapon.)
"casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you" 1 Peter 5:7
It's tough being a woman in a mean world.
(Sometimes just because we can doesn't mean we should. In a mean world, we are called to fight the good fight.)
"This command I entrust to you, Timothy, my son, in accordance with the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you fight the good fight, keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith. "
1 Timothy 1:18-19
It's tough being a woman in a world where beauty is a treatment.
It's tough being a woman in another woman's shadow.
