Mom's Pics: Grandma's 93rd Birthday and Family Tree Tradition

On Grandma Nancy's actual 93rd birthday, we took her an Elmo and Princess balloon along with a Cinderella cake. Leightyn and Mylea enjoyed eating birthday cake with Grandma.

Growing up, we had a yearly birthday tradition in my family. On one of the kitchen doorways, we marked our growth for the year. My parents started this when we were very young and it continued until we were 18. When my dad and mom moved to Ft. Smith, the wall came with them. My dad turned the wall board in to a family tree coat hanger. Leightyn and Mylea have been added to the birthday tradition. It is really neat to compare their growth to me and my brother's height.
