"Attitude of Gratitude"

Last Sunday evening, the children at church did a short musical about having an "Attitude of Gratitude". Every child drew a picture of something they were thankful for. We had them memorize a verse about being thankful to recite before telling what they we thankful for. The kids did awesome! For several kiddos, this was their first musical. Our choir group is full of little kids but I'm loving working with this new group of kids.
Mylea's verse was "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good. His love endures forever". She then told us that she was thankful for Jesus dying on the cross.
The little boy sitting next to Mylea is a hoot. You never know what he is going to say. In fact, he was thankful for his pet tarantula (which he took to school for show and tell).
During practice, he kept brushing Mylea's hair and rubbing her arm. It was funny watching him memorized with Mylea's blonde hair.
