NYC: FAO Schwartz,Broadway, and M&M World

Saturday was a full busy day while in New York City!

We arrived at FAO Schwartz just in time to watch the Toy Solider officially open the store and welcome everyone. As we entered, all the employee clapped for us and greeted us while we walked the red carpet. FAO had every kind of toy you could imagine....new and old! It was a very neat store, but honestly, I expected more. You always hear about FAO in NYC so I guess I had higher expectations.

I think we were somewhere on the Upper Eastside when we decided to grab some lunch. We found a little neighborhood park (parks sure have an entire different look up there) that had a "Shake Shack" and some tables. Sounded good to us....and good it was!! This was probably the best meal I had in NYC and DC!! We later found out on a tour that a well known chef wanted to open a burger joint that served 5 star burgers at an affordable price. We found another "Shake Shack" on 5th avenue but the line was always so long that it never was an option. In DC, Landen and I came across another location but never made it there for a meal.

Saturday afternoon we marked another "to-do" on Mylea's list. We went and saw "Annie" on Broadway. It was very good! The children actors were fantastic and very talented!! I am so glad that we were able to get tickets. "Annie" will officially turn it's lights off in early January.

It was game day! The Razorbacks were playing at Rutgers. We did look in to getting tickets but couldn't make it with "Annie" showing at the same time. So, cheering for the Hogs and throwing the A in Times Square.
Now for some fun at M&M World

It was a busy day and we still had more planned for the evening.
