Cooking With Leightyn

The past few days Leightyn has been wanting to make a pie...a cherry pie. Well, today was the day! This morning we headed to the store to pick up a few ingredients. Leightyn thought we would go pick cherries for her pie. Since we would not be picking cherries, Leightyn wanted to make something else. We decided to make chocolate delight for dessert tonight


Mix the butter and the flour

Press the dough around to make a flat layer

Mix the cream cheese and sugar with the cool-whip

Do a quick taste test

Spread evenly over the cooked dough

Mix the pudding powder with milk.....this is the FUN part!

Another taste test before spreading on mixture

Spread another layer of cool-whip. If you want, do another taste test! Little sister may want a bite also!

Use a grater to make chocolate shavings to top the cool-whip
