Friday Night Fun

This past week was VBS. The nights went by fast this year. We had a great group of kiddos each night.

Friday night all the kids got on the stage and sang a few songs from the week.

After singing we enjoyed some ice cream in the gym before sending the kiddos home for the week.

Mylea invited some girls over for a sleepover. We ended up bringing 4 home with us. They quickly changed and off to swim we went.

while these smart ones had the entire back to themselves.

Date With Uncle Nigel

Saturday, Mylea had a special day planned with Uncle Nigel. 

Planes, desserts, movies, seemed to be the agenda for the day.

They watched the "candy plane" fly. 

Mylea said it had a special hole to hide candy in until it was time to drop it from the air.

 The Old Fashioned Soda Fountain Downtown was their spot to cool off and enjoy a Sprite float.

 Now on to the "planes, trains, and car" store  to look the perfect one.

Sweet Mylea Jo

Mylea earned some money last week for stepping up and helping out around the house. She added this money with her bag of saved money and decided to go to ToysRUs for a color dome. While walking around the store, Mylea decided to buy a doll for Landry, and then a doll for Maribette. Mylea wanted a carrier and newborn for herself. As we were finishing up, Mylea picked out a doll for Lilah (who was visiting her mom). I think Mylea made some great decisions. All the girls love their new dolls.
