Good Girl Fun Day
A couple of weekends back, Landen and I decided to surprise Mylea with a fun day of her choice. She has had such a great attitude these past few months and we wanted to reward her. When Mylea woke up, we told her that she could plan the morning. We only planned on staying out a few hours since it was already 98 degrees at 9:00 in the morning!
Mylea chose go-carts and putt-putt. We started out at putt-putt. Within two or three holes, we were already sweaty and miserable. We quickly played the rest of the course and then hurried to sit in the air conditioned truck. Next we were off to the go-cart track. Mylea was "soooo super excited" about this part of the day. Daddy and Mylea rode together first. They had fun chasing Momma around the track. The next race was Mylea and Momma against Daddy. We had fun chasing Daddy and beating him.
We had fun together as a family. It was fun celebrating Mylea's great attitude!

We Finally Made It Inside....
Chuck E Cheese!!!!!
So....today was a huge milestone in our lives! After going to the summer movie, Mylea told me that she wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. I couldn't believe my ears. We have not be inside CEC in many, many, many months! The last time I took her, we got to the door and it became a major meltdown. Mylea could see ChuckE in the window. She kept telling me that "sissy told me that ChuckE was gonna get me".
Well, today, as soon as we arrived, Mylea began looking for ChuckE through the window. Once inside, it took some convincing to play games. We played for a while and saw ChuckE coming out from his home. At one point, Mylea turned around and saw the big mouse behind her. She panicked for a second but then began laughing at ChuckE dancing. Mylea continued to play games and ignored ChuckE. She was so excited to be able to cash in tickets that we have saved for over a year.
