"How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You" Dance Recital

Here I go at trying to keep this blog updated again. It's been 2 months since my last post and I just couldn't find the time to keep up with it. With 4 kids and 3 little ones, my time is not spent blogging. So, I am going to start the most recent events and eventually get things caught up from Easter. 

Friday night was Mylea's time to shine on the stage. After practicing all week, Mylea was ready to perform for the audience and her cheer section.

 Now to take a few weeks off until dance starts up in the fall. Mylea has asked to take tap and ballet again. She also wants to add hip-hop.

Egg Dying and Reality

I love dying and decorating eggs! I was so excited to let the little ones color eggs last night. This year we went with the new fake plastic dye able eggs so the kids could hide them over and over in the house. I couldn't wait to break out the camera and capture some cute pictures of my kiddos.  

All was well for the first ten minutes and then it was one meltdown after another. Maribette wanted to grab everything off the table. Landry wanted to hold the eggs and use her fingers to hold the eggs in the dye. We had a couple of dye cups spill and the fake eggs don't color as well as the real ones. So here is the reality of egg dying at our house.
