Valentines Date

Thursday night, Landen and I took Mylea out for a big girl night. She has been wanting to get her fingernails painted and her "feet washed" for about a month so we decided that now was the perfect time. She chose blue fingernails and red glitter toenails. Then she had white zebra stripes added to both. She is like her momma and daddy, when they turned her chair on, she sank down and the chair and said "yeah, this feels good". After we finished getting polished, we headed off for a quick dinner before returning back to Landry.

Valentines Dinner

Wednesday night before church, we headed to our favorite Chick-Fil-A to enjoy their "Night in Paris" dinner. We were greeted at the door with a "Bonjour" and the Chick-Fil-A cow was waiting inside. While we dined, we were entertained by a local orchestra. Mylea was given a carnation as she waited at the table for her food. After finishing our meal, we made a trip to the chocolate fountain to enjoy fruits, marshmallows, and pretzels dipped in white and dark chocolate.

Special Delivery

Last Tuesday, Daddy made a special delivery for the girls. Mylea was excited to answer the front door  and find daddy standing outside with balloons. Every year for Valentines, daddy brings his girls home a singing balloon. This is something they always look forward. Mylea has been reminding us about the balloon since she saw them in the stores a few weeks ago.

 Landry didn't know what was going on but she loves balloons and loves to dance so she was excited!

 Daddy also gave Mylea a little wrapped up present. She eagerly opened it wanting to find out what treasure would be inside. 

 Daddy had found her a beautiful heart necklace with matching earrings. She was in awe. I didn't get a picture in time showing her reaction, but she just gasped when she saw the necklace. 

 

After daddy put the necklace on Mylea, she just kept staring at it and went on and on about how beautiful and special it was. 

 So thankful for this daddy and his love for the girls!
