Disney Day 6

Thursday morning we began the day at The Animal Kingdom.

Before entering the park, we were greeted by Rafiki from The Lion King. Mylea was excited to take a picture with him.

After grabbing a quick lunch, Mylea and Daddy heading to Dino-Land to ride a few rides. After standing in line, the ride shut down due to technical problems.

Instead of waiting around, we made our way to the Finding Nemo Musical.

This was the first time any of us had seen it. I have to say that it was a very impressive and entertaining show. There were real people singing and dancing while making the puppets come to life.

After the show, we decided to take a quick ice cream break.

While waiting for ice cream, Mylea had fun trying to feed the many birds that roam freely in the park.

As we were leaving the park, Landen and I decided to have Mylea's hair "threaded".

Mylea loved the finished thread! She still has it in to this day!

As we were leaving the park, we came across Lilo.

And Flick from "A Bugs Life".

Since we were all hot and miserable, we decided that it was a good day to spend a few hours at the pool before heading out for supper later that evening. While the guys took naps, Mylea, Jo, and I headed to the resort pool. I wish I would have taken my camera, but I forgot to grab it as we walked out the door. Mylea finally decided to play on the slides this time at the pool. Once she convinced herself that it wasn't deep water, she wouldn't get off the slide. After about an hour and a half at the pool, the daily afternoon rain shower came and quickly turned in to a storm. We ran quickly back to the room and took naps before cleaning up for supper.

Supper reservations were at Chef Mickey's, located inside the Contemporary Resort. We took the bus from our resort to the Magic Kingdom. From the Magic Kingdom, we walked to the Contemporary.......in....the....rain! When we arrived at Chef Mickey's we took a group shot in from of Mickey, however, we were all soaked so I will not be posting that picture!

While we ate, we were visited by Minnie Mouse.

And we couldn't forget that it was still Mylea's birthday!!!

Donald came back for another visit after doing a birthday dance with My.

Pluto came to see us.

Disney Day 5

Thursday morning we had breakfast scheduled at The Crystal Palace inside The Magic Kingdom. Mylea was excited to see Pooh and Piglet through the window.

Tigger came bouncing over to our table but My wasn't sure about him.

Pooh came to visit us and Mylea wanted to know where his pot of honey was.

We celebrated Mylea's birthday......again. Mylea began to remind us that everyday was her birthday! When you book a Disney vacation, they want to know if you are celebrating anything, so.....I guess you do celebrate every day at Disney!

As we were fixing to head out, Mylea wanted to see Piglet again. They had a good time giving fist pounds and high fives. Mylea thought it was really funny when Piglet would give her a fist pound and then blow it up.

When we stepped out of the restaurant, the daily castle party was going on so we headed over to watch it.

After the show, we headed out on a mission to find Pinocchio. Mylea had been wanted to find him since we arrived on day 1. Meeting Pinocchio with Leightyn a few years ago is a memory that Mylea talks about weekly.

Close to Pinocchio was Daisy Duck. Mylea couldn't wait to take a picture with Daisy "all by myself".

We found a great spot to watch the "Celebrate It" street parade and dance party.

While heading to Fantasy Land with Jo, Mylea spotted the White Rabbit and had to take a picture.

By mid-afternoon, we were all hot and tired. It was a great time to have a seat, grab a bite to eat, and watch the "Celebrate Dreams Come True" parade.

After the parade, we headed back to the resort to cool off and clean up before our dinner at the Yacht Club Steakhouse. This place was awesome! A must do again on our next visit! Mylea had a fun time showing off her steak, potatoes, and carrots!

For dessert, Mylea had a brownie with a white chocolate puzzle. Once she put the pieces together, she had to use her paintbrush to add cherry sauce, blueberries, and chocolate sauce. Oh, and of course.....they brought out a cake for us to celebrate My's birthday!!!!

Disney Day 4

We woke up early Tuesday morning and headed to Hollywood Studios. This park is based on movies, special effects, and characters from TV shows.

We had breakfast scheduled with characters from Disney Junior Morning Shows.

Mylea loved looking around to seeing all the characters.....but, she did not want any of them coming near her this morning!!

Mylea was happy to see Handy Mandy.......only from across the table.

Same thing with Leo from Little Einsteins.

When June (Little Einsteins) came around, Mylea was ok as long as momma was in the picture with her.

Towards the end of breakfast, Mylea decided that she wanted to go to the dance party with her TV friends. She had fun doing the Hokey Pokey with daddy close to her.

After breakfast, we headed to watch The Little Mermaid show. This show uses laser lights, clips from the movie, real water, and characters to tell Ariel's story.

Next stop was Toy Story Midway Mania....an entire area dedicated to Toy Story.

We rode the new 3D ride through Andy's room.

While waiting in line to see Woody and Buzz, we ran in to a Green Army Man from Toy Story.

Now off to see Woody and Buzz...

After playing on the Midway, we headed to watch The Beauty And The Beast Musical. On our last visit, Leightyn and Mylea fell in love with Belle and the Beast while watching this show. It was a bittersweet moment to see Mylea in awe of the characters the same way Leightyn was.

After the musical, we headed back to the resort for a quick break before returning again for the evening fireworks show. We had a delicious meal at The Hollywood Brown Derby. After eating, Mylea wanted to go back to the Midway to play in Andy's room again. One the way, she wanted to take a picture with her new friend.

We ended the night at Fantasmic. This is a neat show that uses lasers, fireworks, water, and characters to help Mickey fight the villains.

This picture of the mirror man is actually a laser flashing across water that was spraying straight up in the air.

Time for bed!!
