Date Night

Last week, Mylea called her daddy and asked him to go on a date. While I was at a meeting, Landen and Mylea had a date at home. Mylea wanted to eat popcorn and candy while watching Princess and the Frog. The next morning, Mylea told me all about her date. She said that daddy was silly because he moved the couch to the middle of the living room. Mylea told me that she wore her pajamas and ate popcorn.

It was a great night for Mylea and Daddy!

Awanas Kick Off

It's time for Awanas to begin!

Last week, we had our kick 0ff party. There were so many kids in the gym. The church rented an inflatable obstacle course for the kids to play on. Mylea had so much fun with her friends. She can't wait to be a Cubbie Bear. Leightyn had told her all about Cubbies and what happens during class.
It's gonna be a great year in Awanas!

My Big Three Year Old

Happy 3rd Birthday Mylea!!!!

Sunday was Mylea's 3rd birthday. We all did our best to enjoy the day. The day began with all of us going to church. We ate lunch at Maria's before going back to the house for cake, ice cream, and presents.

We had to wait 30 minutes for a table at Maria's so grandad took Mylea for a pre-lunch ice cream treat.

After lunch we enjoyed cake and ice cream with the family.

For the last few weeks, all Mylea has asked for is: baby diapers, baby dolls, and a car.
